3D laser survey consists of point cloud data, a collection of measured points placed accurately within a 3d environment. This point cloud data is interrogated to produce floorplans, sections, elevations, 3D digital models etc, etc, that can be imported directly into a range of CAD drawing software such as AutoCAD and Revit. The completed package can be delivered in a format to suit the client and may be utilised by Builders, Architects, Structural Engineers, Designers, Plant Engineering, Facility, Buildings & Asset Managers, Planners or anyone requiring the "as-built" information for:

These 3D point cloud models can be convert into 2D floor plans, sections and elevations and 3D Revit models at a lower cost than traditional methods.
Our aim at Cumbria 3D Surveys is to provide a high quality, accurate and cost effective service combined with the very latest technology leading to a rapid, efficient turnaround for the client.
We use the latest Leica 3D scanners with LiDAR technology that captures 360,000 points per second. Utilising three spherical, panoramic HDR cameras with a thermal imaging camera to deliver 3D point clouds. With millimetre accuracy, these scanners capture the world around you with full-colour panoramic images overlaid on a high-accuracy point cloud data. The. Survey data is registered together using cutting edge world leading software away from the site.
Complex structures and environments are captured faster than alternative surveying techniques thus removing the risk of return visits due to incompleteness of data capture.

On completion of on-site scanning, the data will be processed into a useable format to enable production of drawings, floor plans, elevations, 3D digital models etc in an electronic file format as required.
The final step is delivery of the completed package along with a client review to ensure total client satisfaction.
